Just you and a date going?

Kill yourself. It will be more pleasurable, I assure you.

I suggest you take your 100 dollars and get a sixty dollar bottle of wine, some take out sushi, and a movie. &

Gotcha, I dont know if 40 is gonna get you dinner for two tho.

Sister Divine, the fortune teller on Airline Hwy, is the only place in BR that is a bigger waste of money than Melting Pot.

I'm not worried about that. My date volunteered to cover anything over the $40 i was putting up

I don't go to Melting Pot for the food.
You're paying for an experience, it's a nice place to bring a woman you're dating. You don't go there to get full.
Also, stumbled across this online the other day. Sign that appeared in a Melting Pot bathroom.

I know this might be a novel concept to some, but I cook food every damn day An "experience" for me is not having to.

I don't hate the place. It's fairly expensive for the quality of food and the fact that you're boiling food u shouldn't boil. It's a decent date spot though. I'd go cheap on whatever entree u choose and eat up on the other stuff.

The Melting Pot is not horrible. They make the best margarita in BR according to my gf. Make damn sure you cook the chicken.

I like going for just some dessert fondue.

Dessert is good.
Everything else is mediocre at best.

Always good advice.
Though it would be a slam dunk law suit if you did get salmonella...

anyone that goes to this rip-off joint
my favorite is the 'dash of mojo herbs' option for SEVEN FREAKING DOLLARS. i guess after you've spent $100 for a tiny stack of raw meat cubes that you get to undercook or boil-until-tasteless, $7 for 'carribean essences' sounds like a S-T-E-A-L
eta just go to flemings or ruths and buy your date a delicious freaking steak prepared by people who know what the hell they're doing.
at least you'll get enough food to get full. last time i hit melting pot i swung through mcdonalds on the way home and bought a double-cheesburger & fries.
