Anyone ever eaten "Sour Dirt" ?

just rode past a store with a sign out front and among the 'delicacies' offered along with 'Goat Meat' was Sour Dirt.

I've heard tales of older folks in the South...like Mizzip and Alabama eating dirt for some odd reason.





Apparently it has a name- geophagy, other than just fricking weird.

just regular dirt. Havent been sick, not even runny nose, in 8 years.

lots of good stuff in loamy topsoil...

I know some Southerners eat clay from the ground.

If youve ever taken milk of magnesia for diarrhea that is simply bentonite (or montmorillonite) which is a very fine clay that can absorb 5 times its weight in water.
