According to his cousin on rivals, lsu has recently started to show interest. I like him.

Throwing wise, easily Knight is way better. Athletic wise, Davis has the edge, but it will depend on how he comes back from his injury

The only thing I don't like is not seeing the kid work from under center...ever. Other then that, he is nails.

I'm shocked he wasn't offered before Brewer. I thought Knight was their top priority. Doesn't Knight have ties to Texas? Maybe family already attending UT?

You see that a lot more often now in high school with how fast the game has become. By putting him in shotgun, it gives him more opportunity to run.

I'm shocked at that as well. Knight looks like a better passer and Brewer has Davante' Neal to make him look better. Their loss is hopefully our gain I guess

I was more worried about him adapting to the center exchange. Minor details to be worked out but still something noticeably missing in film. Like I said, the kid is

I really wanted him, but it seems we won't pay him much attention with the commitment of Brewer. Hope he goes to LSU.
I still, however, want Matt Davis. He is an incredible athlete, but I think he is too good of an athlete to stay at QB, especially if he fully recovers from his surgery.

He looks really good, but it will be pretty tough to pull a kid from San Antonio to LSU. Houston is one thing, just 4 hours away. But SA is 7. I can see OU showing interest, or A&M, or maybe he wants to compete with Brewer. It's not like UT has a lock on the QB position anywhere. I wouldn't get my hopes up but it's not an impossibility.

His cousin thinks Texas will offer him as an ATH with a shot at QB when he attends their Junior Day. (He's going to TCU's this Saturday.)
Trevor also plans on attending A&M's Elite Junior Day with his twin brother TE Connor Knight on Feb 20th
The cousin also states that LSU is keeping in touch with Trevor and that they've sent him some correspondence recently.
