Word on the street is Morehouse Parish school board was taking away some of his control over the football program at Bastrop High.

sounds like someone needs to take away their control. when you have a coach that wins 3 state titles in a row and consistently puts players on D1 rosters, short of fricking 14 year old girls, he should be able to do whatever he wants.

Wow. Didn't see that coming. He did wonders for that program, regardless of what after with Katrina. That program was nothing before he took over. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I know some good folk who have coached for him and they love him. And they would have never left had Morehouse Parish been able to pay more.

He didnt have the best rep with people outside of the program, but he did wonders with those guys and he always got the kids schollies. Theyre going to regret losing him.

I wonder what hes going to do now. I believe his wife is a lawyer in Arkansas so he probably wont move far.

Its making sense why Rayville started their coaching search from scratch monday. I bet he will be named the new HC at Raytown soon.
