Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I hear it's an absolutely mess in the DFW area today and yesterday with the snow/ice/roads, etc.

My dad couldn't even get into Dallas yesterday, had to turn back and head home to Longview the roads were so bad.

The weather in Dallas is awful. Rolling blackouts through the DFW area. Probably doesn't have power.

DFW is a freaking mess. I'm here and there is no one on the streets. Schools are closed period. If he has to fax from school it could be Thursday. People cannot even get out of their house and parts of the metroplex are having rolling black outs.

On the upside, I don't have to teach today (as my school is closed) so I can sit at home and watch the fun.

Jenkins is supposed to for sure sign today. I went to school with him here in jena before he moved to Dallas to live with Jason Hatcher. His dad and my dad are good friends and his dad came and visited mine at his work last week and told him that he was excited to sign with LSU today.

I'm in Texas right now and traveling is a nightmare... UT signed all their guys so early this morning because they helped their guys with travel arrangements per ESPNU.

Maybe he has a fax machine at his house or can walk to school from where he lives. Could be a lot of things.

@JimKleinpeter: LOI from David Jenkins may be delayed. Carrollton TX schools close because of weather.

Weather hasn't stopped any Texas recruits from getting their LOI in, just saying.
