What's up with Marcus Roberson...

...why did he decommit from Auburn? Is he going back to texas tech? It's just weird that he commits to a school a few days earlier and then decommits a day before signing day.

The info they found was he was telling people he wasn't 100% committed after they told him to make his commitment final. He was more or less a silent to Auburn for months, then out of nowhere committed TT - so that right there tells the coaches he wasn't totally honest with them. Then he tells our coaches he made a mistake and wants to play for them, commits and then it sounds like he wasn't 100%. They feel like Whitehead is 100% and decided to tell Roberson to go elsewhere because they were tired of dealing with his back and forth game.
As much as I'd like to have Roberson, I can't fault our coaches for moving on and making sure they have a quality DB to fill that spot this year. If Roberson isn't 100%, they can't sit back and wait for him to decide when signing day is tomorrow and they've got others that want to fill that spot.
If you don't believe it and think it's spin, I don't know what else to tell you.
