I guess they didn't realize that Deano's (2 blocks away) also sells take n bake pizzas. You would be a fool to not pay a couple dollars more for quality, and people with money will. College kids will not pay $10 to bring home a pizza to cook for themselves when they can get Domino's/Papa John's/Pizza Hut for the same price, all within a mile or so of this location. Not to mention Rouse's will be open soon. How long will corporate hold this place open ?

We love Papa Murphy's, especially over home delivered pizza.

I'm not sure how the price for Deano's unbaked pizza compares to Papa Murphy but the quality is at least the same or better in my opinion.

It has been a couple of years since I've had Deano's though.

I said the same thing until I bought one and baked it. They pride themselves on the "freshest ingredients" and I have to say, when you take one of there pizzas out of the wrap, you know it's fresh. Give it a shot. I'll be surprised if you don't enjoy it. (no I don't work for PM, haha)

IDK if you're being sarcastic or not but there are successful Papa Murphy's everywhere.
I personally hate the idea of take and bake, but it seems to work everywhere they have a location.

I think you under estimate the stupidity of the general population.

Not being scarcastic

If I'm ordering pizza, it's bc I'm hungover, high, or lazy as shite.. And I definitely do not wanna spend any time baking a pizza when I can get it delivered hot n steamy for the same price.

I thought the same until I baked one. The quality of Papa Murphy's is certainly better than that of Papa John's, Domino's, etc. It's not as convenient as those though, for sure.

You're right about that. I just don't think they can make it where they are located. In the middle of the college area (kids 'ain't' baking pizza for 10 bucks), and people not from Laffy don't know about Deano's. Their take and bake will destroy PM's b/c of the clientele who will pay this money and take the time to do it. I may be wrong, but there still are NO SUBWAYS near the campus (OLD TYME GROCERY). This was my 1st thought when PM's opened up here. Try Broussard / Verot - Pinhook area 1st.

It depends. I pick one up ahead of time when I'm near the Papa Murphy's in my area. Take it home and then cook it when I'm ready. It only takes 10 minutes to cook. I rarely am sitting at home and decide to go out and get one.

One advantage is that when you cook it yourself, it is hot and not lukewarm like delivery pizza.
