If true what a sad mistake. He could have played on a top ten team and learned under the best linbacker coach in the country Chavis.

Its true, and there is a lot of shady stuff going on. The latest rumor is that a law firm in Philadelphia who's partners are all OM grads have had a lot to do with the recent recruitment of Johnson.

Heard LSU had an in-home tonight. Have heard nothing further regarding his visit to BR this weekend.

You got a more logical explanation?

Or are you saying the kid's stupid? Cause he'd have to be to go to Ole Miss without getting paid.

You really have no reason to be on this board.

ha I don't know about that but not to my knowledge. We had one last week with Miles, Haley, and Cooper that was said to have gone really well. But next think you know he's possibly not even visiting because Houston Nutt told him they were Auburn or something to that effect.

Strange situation I've been hearing they're pulling out all the stops money wise. Could be bullshite rumor on the heels of this guy, along with a few others, spurning State but it is odd that these guys would change all of a sudden after State's best season in forever.

What's interesting is that he bad mouthed OM all year then suddenly switches to them.

OM is also a team that completely stopped recruiting him once he committed to MSU. LSU has been in constant contact through this whole season

Yeah really there is nothing in the entire situation that makes any sense on any level. He was committed to State for a long time. They have a great year on the field. OM watches at home with the same coach that has been largely mediocre there with Nutt. OM continues to head downhill, even after such a bad year last season. Then he decommits and you think LSU makes by far the most sense. And then it's all Ole Miss because Houston Nutt tells him he's the next Cam Newton.

And don't forget they lose their starting qb during all this too.
