He doesn't even have a rivals page. He may wear #6, but to my knowledge, he's not listed in one major recruiting service's database.

#6 according to who? I tried to look him up and I didn't see him ranked by Rivals or Scout. I think he's committed to Idaho State.

His brother, Kurt, is a sports columnist for the Salt Lake City Tribune; their father, Dave Kragthorpe, was also a college football coach, most notably at Oregon State. Steve's son, Brad, was the quarterback for Holland Hall, a private prep school in Tulsa, where he was rated as one of the top high school quarterbacks in the state.[14]

Now the question is, "If Kragthorpe buys his son a new car for his senior year and he comes to play fb at LSU, will the NCAA see that as a recruiting violation.

Pretty sure at most he would walk-on here. Which, we could use another walk-on QB considering McCartney will be a senior and the only other one we have is Bailey.
