Trojans have recruited 26 players so far this year. How can that even be possible? Are they so certain that they will get the scholarship sanctions reduced? They normally don't even hit the 20 recruit mark until late in the recruiting season.

early enrollments and back counting, this will be the only year they can do that

Wrong, all of SC administration is in contact with the NCAA on what we can and cannot do. USC is appealing for 15 schollies reduced and the max at 80 instead of 75. They will take 20 plus the early enrollees. If the appeal is denied then the scholarship crunch will begin next year.

The FAD that was USC is now all but gone..

Can you tell me what he has done that was bad so far at SC? Ill be the first to admit the jury is still out as a head coach but what exactly did he do so bad this year? Do you really think SC fans give a shite what he did at UT?

Lane Kiffen was present and part of the buying of players at USC for which they are presently just short of getting the death penalty. Give him a year or two. SC will be DEAD!

Though I do not like USC at all, I cannot blame them for doing this. But I do wish the system would work faster & more efficiently so that this appeal could be decided much sooner. For future reference, Auburn may be taking notes!

Actually, one of the more surprising stories of this past season was that Lane Kiffen was not nearly as high profile as in previous years. But we'll see if that type of restraint from him continues in the coming years.
