Don't put it off too long before bills, work and other things that tie you down get in the way. Met a 90 year old man who was dying of cancer from Prince George BC last fall, and he said his dream had always been to get to Alaska and see the state. Kept putting it off and didn't get a chance to do it until he was too old to enjoy it like he could have once. Felt for the old guy, but at least he got to do it before he cashed out.

i've got plenty of all that already
i plan to do it in the next five years, i just want to be able to do it before i have kids.

Wilderness is just a couple of steps from the door, guess that is what I appreciate about the area. Even the majority of land within the city limits is wilderness, or you can see it from there

Took this last weekend. Some people fishing from a pier and if you look in the tee at the top right, you see a bald eagle.
