Almost 9,000 season tickets sold at Sporting Kansas City. Especially impressive since they won't play a home game until June. Kansas City had 467 Season Ticket holders in 2007.

Seattle has 32,000 renewals from last year. They're now raking through the waiting list looking for 2k more. Doesn't appear that the hawks nest will be opened.

Toronto is sold out at 18,000 Season tickets

Over 10k sold in Portland, already. All 23 suites have been sold on a multi year basis, as well. Aiming for 12k. Stadium isn't finished until Mid April.

FC Dallas has sold 3x as many tickets as they had at this point last season. That could mean people are renewing earlier, that could mean that they've only sold 1,500 Season Tickets. Either way, it looks like the MLS cup run is paying off.

Philly at 12k looking for 2k more

Vancouver has sold some ambigious number below 16k

they should have a good team next year with the additions of McCarty and Perry to go along with a budding starlet in Najar, and some quality role players in quaranta and Boskovic. They should have a great midfield. Should be interesting to see how Pontius makes his comeback.

Vancouver and Toronto wont sell out the stadiums as season tickets only...Vancouver could but they are capping season ticket sales at 8 or 9/10ths or so. This is so some fans can be assured they can "walk up" and obtain seats, its a strategy used by Toronto FC to great success...TFC's waiting list for season tickets is around 2 years at this point...

Nobody will sell out the stadium with only season tickets.

Even Seattle has about 2,500 available for individual games.

Portland says they're capping at 12k, but I bet they'll go to at least 14. Capacity might only be 19k for small matches and 23k for big matches. Nice to see the TFC ownership being responsible and lowering Season ticket prices, and making serious management moves.

Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment which own the Leafs Raptors and TFC have sold out every Toronto Maple Leaf game with seasons tickets for the last 20 years. The waiting list for seasons tickets for the Leafs is around 10 or 11 years...We thought the bastards would do the same considering the demand for TFC...They are expected to buy the NFL franchise for Toronto..

I saw a thread a while back that had some pictures of the new Timbers stadium. Anyone have any updates about how the progress is coming along?

Nothing in the last couple of weeks that I can find, but here's a fan blog with a section dedicated to it:

KC's stadium is looking sweet. Rumors still swirling they will host the All Star game with Barcelona the opponent.

They've got a Gold cup game coming.

Kansas City is becoming the shining beacon of midwestern soccer. I saw this coming back in the summer.

12,000 fans in what was probably the largest outdoor viewing party in American history

haha, no, I'm not kidding. I'd love to get an MLS gig, no matter how unsuited for it I am, or low-paying. It would be hard to get paid less than I do right now anyhow.

Do you have any insider info on DC's upcoming season? On Andy Najar's national team choice? Dax McCarty's gingerness?
