Shot my first deer this past Friday and I had just started deer hunting this year
It was also the first hunt my new tikka .270 WSM went on and I put down this doe

It was in Concordia parish at my friends place and I got into the stand at about 3 with a food plot to my front left and a little water area to my back right
At about 515 I thought I heard something behind me so I turned around to look and when I looked back she was coming out of the brush into the food plot I lifted up and she was eating but facing me for what felt like a minute she turned to her left and that's when I shot she ran like 100 yds and I saw her white belly when she fell
Went through both lungs and nicked the heart
