Looking for recommendations for a cozy bar in NOLA after going to dinner this evening (La Thai FWIW). Location isn't a big deal. Just some place that isn't crazy loud, has some nice ambiance to sit and have a drink and a smoke.

Thanks in advance.

Bar Tonique on 800 block of Rampart. Quaint place that mixes some of the best cocktails in town.

St. Joe's and Laffites are excellent choices. What about Avenue Pub? New Orleans is a great place. I gotta go back and visit.

St Joes was the first thing that popped into my head with your location.

That's my favorite, but I'm a beer geek.
