Yeah IDK, IDK anything about Houma restaurants. The only time I'd ever heard anything before was in relation to Martinique. I'll find a link to wherever I just read this about Dominique.

My favorite dessert in New Orleans: Herbsaint's banana brown butter tart with fleur de sel caramel.

Right

And as I said it's related to Cristiano's in Houma

The owner of Cristiano's acquired Martinique

Previously they were independent of each other

A few people that have posted around here went on a slow night to Stella and had the dessert tasting menu or something like that. I am guessing it would be tough to beat that as far as high end desserts.

wow, that looks really good. Any other samplers like that to compare to?

gf and I's first anniversary is this weekend and I wanted to do something nice.. she mentioned that she wanted to go to a really nice restaurant someday and just order dessert, which is where this is coming from

I've done the dessert tasting at Stella!, where I've gone just for that exclusively. You don't have to do it on a slow night - just tell them what you want to do in advance. If you go for like 9:00 or after, it should be easy.

Please take my advice and eat a light dinner. That dessert tasting is one serious sugar rush, but your girlfriend should enjoy the hell out of it.

If you each get a cup of coffee, it'll be like $70 with tip - that's even expensive enough for all the OT hardlegs and ballaz!

That's a little too short notice, but I would at least try calling to specifically say you want dessert only.

If that doesn't work, I think a bunch of desserts at MiLa would be a good alternative. You won't have any trouble getting in there, I promise.

not trying to impress, I've already got her

want something different for both of us... I don't get the opportunity to take her to high end restaurants for dinner much because she's a vegetarian. I'm trying to use this as an excuse.
