It needs to warm up alot. That frigid game last year with that north wind blowing sucked.By games end I bet there was maybe 20 of us idiots in the stands.

Good we need good pitching for sure. It will be interesting to see how the new bat rule changes college baseball this year.

It's automatically going to be better with the less powerful bats

Kevin Gausman is going to be the next great LSU pitcher, even better than Ranaudo. I've been following him since his HS showcase days and he's the real deal.

mahtook needs to concentrate less on HRs and more on doubles this year.

with the newspaper bats, it could be a loooooong year for him if he hasnt adjusted from last season

Brandon Larson would have trouble hitting homers with these bats

He's that good. I think he'll be a bit more durable than Ranaudo, too, and seeing him clocked at 100 MPH was incredible. His fastball has a nice sink to it so he should induce plenty of ground balls. His brother pitched in the Royals org too so he has a good pedigree.

yea, but i think mahtook tried wayyyyy too hard for homers last year

he took a ton of might hacks and came up empty...54 K's is too many for him

I remember a game against Long Beach St. when I was there that it might have been in the teens during the Sunday afternoon game.....I went out there for about an inning and a half and had enough.....I went back to my apartment cranked the heat up and listened to it on the radio, and if memory serves the game went into extra innings and we won.
