What stood out to me is what he said about booing. Paraphrasing and simplifying here: basically, he heard a story about a stadium where the fans don't boo. He said on the one hand that's a pretty positive atmosphere, but upon greater reflection realized that it probably meant there was no passion in that stadium either. He says if 2500 knuckleheads want to boo once in a while, he'll accept it if it means the other 90,000 are rock-solid behind the team.
He reiterated before he left that he is an LSU MAN. There was no doubt in his voice nor in my mind that he meant what he said.
