Kelly=courageous , Miles = wacky

Kelly was referred to as a riverboat gambler I believe

i heard them say "riverboat gambler" last night and I've heard them call Les that.

Like it or not, when you have clock management gaffes as bad as Ole Miss and Tennessee in back to back seasons, you lose credibility with the media, opposing coaches, and your own fan base.

It will take a couple of great seasons with no embarrassing coaching mistakes for Miles to regain the image that you describe.

Great point Starkville. Riverboat gambler was the worst said about Kelly . It's the best said about les.

You may be right but at least Miles has a ring to show for his wackiness/quirkiness/riverboat gambling/etc. What does kelly have? An entire offseason to try to come up with other "courageous" ways to beat an SEC team.

if you can't see that the comments about Kelly (whether you agree with them or not...whether you think the announcers should have been harsher or not) have absolutely nothing to do with Les Miles and Miles' reputation as a terrible clock mgr, then you're a fool.

The two are completely independent & to try to find a correlation is stupid.
Furthermore, while some of Kelly's moves last night were questionable, nothing he did even compares to Miles' famous screw ups.

I swear some of you would make up shite just to say that LSU/Miles is being disrespected.
