Has anyone ever been there? I'm going next November and would like to get some feedback. I've been doing some research and found some pretty bad reviews.

I've never been there but I see them advertised everywhere, what kind of bad reviews are you finding?

Had friends that went. They said your lucky to find a buck that meets the requirements. Seems that they make more money if you shoot deer under the required minimum score ,130" i think, 1000 dollar fine if under

Dude I would honestly back out and save your money. Illinois is a shitshow now and they have DESTROYED the age structure there, especially in and around Pike County. Apply for Unit 16 or 14 in kansas and buy a hunt there. If you go with a good outfitter you will have an opportunity at a mature deer in the 40's or 50's or better. Trust me you will me getting WAY more bang for your buck.

Yea I saw lots of bad reviews for them as well. I wanted to go there but unless you are a repeat customer or first timer with deep pockets and you make that known to them I think your chances are alot slimmer. They do have some monsters but they aren't gonna put you on one that they are aware of if its your first trip. There are lots of other places that do the same thing. They just cater to the ones that spend the most and Hadley isn't cheap to start with. Thats my opinion of waht I've heard anyway. Try a place thats not so television super star oriented.

If you can't book a trip around Oct. 31st, then dont book one there at all.

The first week of November is typically very prime time pre rut. If I had my pick of dates, the week leading up to gun season typically the second week of Noevember is normal wide open rut.

I have no idea of their operation, but they lease some land that is near my families farm and there ARE big deer up there. How they put you on them I don't know. I can tell you we have killed several great deer there over the years. Ya'll keep on believing the deer herd is screwed up in IL, other than WAY too many does, there are lots of big bucks. We have deer rubbing telephone poles.
