I had posted a couple pics of bucks that I had killed in some thread about what you had killed. I suck so bad at it though they were way too big and nobody could even figure out what I was doing wrong

My first try posting pics, here goes:

Last week, East Carroll Parish. Me, My Grandfather, and Dad limited on mallards, woodies, grey ducks and teal. I am 32 and still get to duck hunt with my Papaw whenever I want. That is some sacred stuff.

ETA: shite, what i do wrong?

ETA2: I got it!

Slickback,

Not only is this a great, great idea but you also put a lot of work into posting other people's pics and labelling each one.

Impressive and well done.

My first Tropy. Killed in Nov 1992. I was 14 Rut had just gotten started early that year. My dad had told me there was a good one in the area. I set up in this shitty box all day.

The box had a small fp behind it, and to the left, right, and front were small shooting lanes. I was moving my gun from one window to the others on what seemed a neverending merry-go-round of buck activity.

He finally comes out, runing onto a lane after a hot doe at 120 yds. All I could do was holler at em. Just yelled "heyboy!" and he stopped as ordered. My shaking arse shot at him, the buck looked around, got a little bored, and decided to get back after the doe. I rolled him on my second shot while he was running towards the doe.

One of my more memorable hunts

This dude had me freaking out for more than an hour. I was in a high box overlooking 2 long lanes making a V form away from me.

Bucks were chasing like crazy. Get a good look at one, right behind him were 2 or 3 more waiting in line. He was the biggest of the bunch, but a shooting situation was gonna be a bitch.

Sometime later, he made another sprint across the lane. Just enough time for me to put the crosshairs down and pull. didn't see or hear shite after that. assummed I missed.

Bout 10 minutes later same this happens on the other lane. Deer starts running, fired one off in the half second I had. Watch the buck drop.

Turns out they were both the same deer, and I hit him with both bullets about an inch apart in the vital area. I was freaking siked.
