Just noticed it and thought it was interesting since most people thought that Hoke would be sitting at the local Denny's in Ann Arbor waiting on pins and needles.
And I have no clue if Hoke is in Dallas or not, but it seems as though wherever he was they would just charter a jet from there as opposed to sending one to pick him up.

Just maybe he is heading there to talk to one of them.
