Give me your Top 5 next year:

SEC (LSU almost certainly has to be pre-season favorite) Bama, in Top 5-10, but Auburn (NO CAM) Florida and others all have flwas.

Big 12 (Maybe OU) No Texas for Sure

ACC (ZERO with FSU in the TOP 10)

Big East (NO)

Big 10 (OHio State but not without teir 5 best suspended...could change of course)

Pac 10 (Oregon and Stanford Only...and could be your defending National Champons!!!!)

Therefore (Top 5ish consists of LSU, Bama, Oregon, Stanford, OU...with Ohio State, FSU, Auburn all lurking)

So I am calling for a #1 vs #2 to open in Jerry World!!!

Who's with me?!!!!

As Always...Rolling Stoned!

Bama & Aub start new QBs next season, don't see them running through their schedule without some bumps.

FSU is a good call if their QB pans out, playing in a mediocre ACC will help.

Oregon wins yeah they will be #1 or #2.....TCU might be up there too.....I have LSU in top 5. Not sure how they will rank stanford with luck staying and harbaugh leaving. OU will be up there

I wouldn't be so quick to rule out Florida. Their defense is solid, and Charlie Weiss will have them scoring points like a damn pinball machine. They might not start out Top 10, but they will get there quickly on style points alone with some big early wins.

With the 5 game suspension to top QB, RB, and WR I dont know if they put OSU in top 5...top 10 maybe

TCU will move to Big East for next year. So...
They will be top 5 and the big dog in the Big East.

I figure LSU's season depends on whether Mett can move ahead of JJ by the end of summer. If not, LSU is a wanna be, starting in the top few and bumbling down down down. If Mett is the real deal, and starts vs Oregon, I will choose LSU to win the BCS national championship.
I want to wait and see what Mett does in practice in spring and summer.

My top five:

TCU
LSU
Oregon
Bama
Stanford

Since LSU/BAMA and Oregon/Stanford both play top 5 teams in my poll, some other teams will end up in the top five by years end.

Depends really the winner of Aub/OR...I think if aub wins lSU will be ranked pretty high....our defense should be scary good next year....Deep in RB...if zack can do what everyone thinks he can...LSU will be elite and strong in every position.

I can see Ar Kansas still being really good. There back-up looked better than Mallet. And I think Georgia is going to be much better even though they are losing Green. Not saying they will be top 5, but Ar Kansas maybe top 15, and UGA top 25.

Top 5 i'd go:
1. Ou
2. Oregon
3. LSU
4. Stanford
5. Boise St

There first 5 games:
Akron (home)
Toledo (home)
Miami FL (road)
Colorado (home)
Michigan State (home)

so looks like they could go 4-1 in that span... now there 6th game is against Nebraska

Miami and Mich st could give them some trouble but being the big 10 I expect they will be back by the mich st game. Hell who knows, maybe they wont be back period....Pledge? really, if they will sell their big 10 rings and trophies, they have no problem breaking a pledge

I agree with the top 4, but isn't Boise losing a lot of starters?

I know there two best wr's are gone. I'm pretty sure Moore hasnt decided yet. I know they returned a TON of starters this year, so they probably are losing a good bit. I dont like them being ranked so high preseason, but thats just how the polls do it now. I like them better than TCU next year if Moore does stay.

OU looks to be solid next year...but it sounds like we are all on consensus on LSU, OU and Oregon...I think Stanford is a Top 5 lock....not sure about Boise and TCU...

Could be a fun game in Dallas!
