Did the Tiger defenders "fake" injuries to slow down the Aggie O?

was re-watching parts of the game, it seemed like the Tigers were trying to slow down the aggie "O"

kinda like Oregon opponents have done
this year

I dont know. The players were going down with cramps, which is quite possible after not playing a game at that pace in over a month.

Pep was the only one I remember going down with the cramps and he did it twice. Brockers actually had an injury, and I thought there was one more person

i think one d-lineman did it, to help insure that another player got off the field in time..

If they would have slowed it down anymore, we'd have scored 55 points.

Wouldn't be surprised if they did. Recall Matt Flynn's "injury" (not the ankle sprain) in one game in '07?

The answer is yes, and it has and will become every bit a part of the game as last minute substitutions and hurry up offenses.

You will see it again in Sept.

I was thinking that if i was an Aggie fan i would have been pissed as hell at what our guys were doing to stop their momentum. Our guys werent trying to get off the field...none of them. You can limp off the field with cramps. But hey...you do what you gotta do...

Believe it or not, it was hot as hell in the stadium until the A.C. kicked in around half-time.

I don't think LSU was faking injuries against A&M's hurry-up offense, at least not like these guys (watch the left goal-post @ 0:08 mark):

This is what faking injury against A&M's hurry-up looks like

I do wonder if there will be rule changes to address the issue of defensive injury timeouts, especially with the trend of hurry-up offenses sure to grow (OU, A&M, Oregon, etc.)

Is there a rule against doing it?

You know, like a rule saying not to pay a kid in 20 dollar bills in a bag at the Dairy Queen dumpster?
