Noticed this morning that the LSU/A&M game was mentioned only once on Colin Cowherd's show. Zero mention on ESPN's First Take. I guess ESPN only pumps the Bowl games they show, no matter how lousy they are.

ESPN hates LSU... duh. Thats why theym didnt let us into one of the bowls they get to broadcast...

Of course they would talk about it more if it was on their network? Nothing surprising about that.

I think it has more to do with the fact that it's a meaningless game, it's January 7th, and the season ended a month and a half ago...

ESPNs coverage of the Cotton Bowl has NOTHING to do with LSU. It has everything to do with the competition for advertising dollars between CBS/ESPN and Fox.

Always the case. When the Cotton becomes a BCS game in a few years they'll be all over it then.

Cowherd loves LSU, i remember listening to his show a couple years ago and he said LSU had the best all around athletics program so far of the decade. Included football, basketball, and baseball.

I bet if one of the teams was USC or Notre Dame or The Ohio State- they would give it time
