Duck Hunting Lease 2011/2012

Me and a couple of guys are looking for a duck hunting lease around the baton rouge area, pref. within 1-1.5 hr drive. Any ideas or areas to look at or anybody have anything open next year?

Been looking the last two years. Don't feel like dealing with public land. Don't mind spending a little money if we could get a good place. I know of a few places to look for deer leases but hardly anywhere for duck leases.

maybe check again in the early summer, most people don't know if the hunters are going to renew until then

That's when I'm going to start looking again hard. I found a few ads from last year from land owners looking to lease. I saved their numbers and will call them in a few months.

I know where they have some in evangeline parish if that's not too far for you.
