Big weekend in Dallas: Texas Whitetail Deer Breeders Co-op Convention and Auction, Cotton Bowl and Dallas Safari Club Convention. I will be at all three.

Who would spend 11,000 to hunt in Alabama? That is a an auction item I saw.

Was it at the Dallas Safari club auction or the Breeders co op auction? I didn't see that item.
Without seeing the auction item I sure it is a preserve hunt for 180" or larger that would be the only way a hunt would be valued at that in Alabama...
The highest fair chase whitetail hunt I know about is at the Hasknife Ranch in Kansas bow hunting only 5 day hunt $9000.00

It was one of the last days of Dallas Safari auction item list, some of those prices are crazy. When you can go hunting pheasants/deer/quail for free on public lands but I guess you pay for the promise of not leaving empty handed and getting that trophy for the wall.
