That being said, I think they keep Rich Rod 1 more year. We win the nat'l championship next year, Miles to Mich next year.

Will not happen. LSU's schedule is too tough, and I seriously doubt we'll improve enough on offense to be better overall against a even tougher schedule.

can we please keep everyone from making a new "miles is staying at LSU" thread? can we sticky one so all the pro-miles suck-offs can circle jerk together about the future of LSU football and 9-3 records? im tired of every thread including 3 morons stating they know hes not going anywhere and raining on the parade this board was made for.

Schedule is probably too tough, unless we get some real O. Peterson and Shep will be tough to replace.

Mettenberger does not equal Newton. Not even close.

easy to say this now...last July no one would have remotely thought Newton would do what he did this year. Not making a specific argument for LSU, just saying that stating an absolute about any top program is naive, at best.

Ok, now lets see, CLM is 56-57 years old, has a pretty good gig, happy family, nice check, set up to be pretty good for the next 3 to 4 years.
He is going to leave all that and start over on a rebuild that will take 2 or 3 years and then maybe be as sucessful is he is now? He would have to have his head examined. Think Mich. is any less demanding than LSU? Bet they are the same although we like to think that we are the best at bitching about everything including the grass.

2 things: 1. its his dream job. always has been. he would love to go there and right the ship and be the savior. 2. entry point. at LSU, he will always be saban's bitch who used saban's recruits to win a title. he never gets credit here- is expected to win every game, and still its never good enough. at michigan- he'd get a statue.

This may sound crazy to some of you that don't like Les, but let him win one more NC and the Saban crap will be gone.

I think you've got it right.

If Les ever hopes to coach at Meechigan and RR is canned, it's now or never.
