what do you think of this guy?

And, no, I have no inside info regarding this guy...just see that he is a Co-OC and may be wanting to shed the "Co" part, plus he coaches QB's, which is something LSU desperately needs.

Anything from that program should be explored

Pretty amazing what they have done

If we are going the sleeper route, I'd rather Chad Morris

I go to grad school at TU and watched them play a lot this year

I don't see it, got crushed and couldn't execute against quality teams

Tulsa went 10-3 this year and 2 of those losses was by a combined 5 points.

The only team that crushed them was Okie State, but the offense still managed to score 28 points and gained 428 yards

They finished 5th in the nation in total offense, (506 yards a game), and 8th in scoring, (41 yards a game).

They ran a balanced attack, finishing 15th in the country in rushing and 13th in passing.

There lowest offensive output was 364 yards.

They gained over 530 yards in 8 different games and over 600 twice

Not sure what which team you are referring to

Just telling you what I saw in person this year, not in the year end stats or in the Hawaii Bowl.

I doubt you watched too many Tulsa games outside of the ND or Hawaii Bowl

Just my opinion

I watched them play Okie State, ND, and Hawaii

And against Okie State, they moved the ball pretty well. They gained over 400 yards through the first 3 quarters.

So since, I didnt watch all their games, which games were they crushed in and which games did they not execute well?

Here is their offensive output from each game to help you out:

579 yards - East Carolina
546 yards - Bowling Green
428 yards - Oklahoma State
539 yards - Central Arkansas
447 yards - Memphis
364 yards - SMU
539 yards - Tulane
400 yards - Notre Dame
612 yards - Rice
413 yards - Houston
543 yards - UTEP
634 yards - Southern Miss
531 yards - Hawaii

I dont see anything that shows them getting crushed and not executing well.

They even ranked 2nd in the country in turnover margin, so that would seem to indicate that they executed pretty well

If I could take any position coach from TCU, it would be Tony Tademy. He coaches LBs at TCU. I've been very impressed with the development they've had at that position since 2000. If Alabama were to lose Smart or Sunseri in the next year or two, Tademy would be in my top five.

So, the stats Speedy posted are bogus?

I'd take Daisy Fuentes as OC right now. She could certainly motivate.

I've done a little research and I like what I've read. He's young and fresh. And perhaps hungry for a head coaching opportunity.

He's one of the best young OC's in the country. I met him last year at a offensive clinic and he shared most of their passing game and what they are doing to be successful and I was impressed with him. He's got great pedigree and background and I would certainly be glad if Miles were to hire him. It would be a good hire if it so happened.

Shouldn't have said crushed

I didn't think their offense looked good against teams that had size and speed, which was only OSU and ND, everyone else blew.

The O's numbers are inflated because they have a terrible D as well. I think they ranked 115 or worse in D.

I just don't think their offense was that complex or special

Just not that impressed I guess

It is also hard to breakdown TUs performance against OSU by watching gamecast
