Or go job hunting. No idea what the offer will be yet or really a time frame except "by April we will know something".
Some others cut will go into effect this week.
Management just responds that we are lucky to have jobs.
Might be true but how can anyone keep a good work attitude after taking a sizable pay cut?
Especially when the reason they are losing money has to do with a history of poor business decisions.

Damn, that's disheartening.

I'm curious, what industry are you in?

I would silently start looking for a new job.

The company is probably going to start experiencing a lot of problems relating to employee morale because of this, IMO.

If this is your perception, you should leave.

If your perception is accurate, the company will continue to decline. If your perception is not accurate, it will be only natural for you to have a less than optimum attitude towards the company which means your termination is just postponed.

Just curious, was one of the company's "poor business decisions" the decision to hire you?

LOL. I doubt anyone who made those decisions even knows who I am and the decisions were made before I started there.
But it does have to do with getting rid of "service lines" that make money and in these times of decreased reimbursements you can't afford to do so.
Now administration thinks that we make too much money and the cutting of salaries will fix the problem.
It won't.
