I think so. It was very entertaining. Some parts were a bit stupid, but those were easy to dismiss in the grand scheme of things. It mentions the original Predator and tied that part in pretty nicely. Adrian Brody was actually pretty kick arse in this movie too. The characters were all pretty great. A lot of movie snobs on this board didn't like it, but i couldn't disagree more with them. As usual.

It's maybe worth 50 cents.....but a dollar? I don't know.
That movie was crap. Garbage. There was so much wrong with that nonsense I don't know where to begin.
I can't stand that movie.

A few months ago somebody asked about it getting dark later in the movie, when early on they talked about the sun never moving or something like that.
Anybody ever figure that out?

This might not be you, but I see part of the problem with the fact that the original Predator itself isn't really a "great movie." It was B movie with little to no plot and big muscle guys dying in a very predictable manner just like in Predators. Thing is, the Predator was a mystery in that first movie, you didn't know what weapons, powers, etc the film's creators were gonna give it. Now, we know all that, so the only thing they can really do is give the Predators a back story while still killing every body which can be hard to do.
ETA: Predators was just Predator I almost to a T on a different planet.

They set it up for a sequel.
Don't really know what else they can do with that story though unless they want to make a sequel that was better than the original.

SPOILERS......
I kind of want to see a sequel because 1.)The whole Morpheous thing, he said he was there like 7 or 10 seasons and was with the Air Cav(seemed like he'd been there since Nam or something but then again, maybe it was just early Iraq. I really want to understand what a season is on that planet. Obviously they jump in every day(or again going back to the sun question, how many hours is their day?) could have been like a few days or a week of daylight, then a short night. Maybe that's what a season is. I'd love for them to explain that in detail and I'd love to see the 2 survivors make a break for it.
But that's about all the substance I can figure on to add in a part 2. The rest would get pretty old I'd think. Depending on who the next crop of jumpers are I guess.
