Overall Impression of NBA2K11

I am thinking about getting this game tonight. I saw other threads with possible issues that people are having but I wanted to know people's overall thoughts. Is it worth it? Is it better than past versions of 2K or Live?

its badass yo.
best basketball game ever and the jordan stuff is just like an extra game all in itself.
my only problem is finding ranked games, i dont even know how to play friends in ranked games

It's pretty good. I'm not down with the grading system though.

You are "graded by your teammates" in games. Meaning you have to do some pretty specific things in game to make the game happy. You can't just wing it all the time and do whatever you want.

I was also thinking about going get it later. I am about to play the demo on PS3 to decide.

You'll probably get pissed off the first time. I was frustrated by it for the first month or so because it takes a while to learn.

Yeah I did get pretty pissed off. It looks like a good challenging game though.

I tried the demo a few days ago and really didn't enjoy it compared to last year's game.
The thing that was so weird to me was the players just not looking right. They look like bobble head dolls, especially Gasol...HUGE head.
But I still found a copy for $25 from a friend, so I went ahead and bought it from him, though I won't actually pick up my copy til probably after the weekend.
