I wondered this myself. I doubt he even plays this coming week, unless it is for one drive and then have his ceremonial send-off. After witnessing Webb perform above par last night, the Vikings need to determine if he has a future with the team going forward.
Also, if he is getting paid 20M this year, a 50k fine does nothing to him. If he is in for 60 offensive plays a game, the going rate for #4 is $20,833 a play. I guess the 50k will hit him hard on the first 2 plays from scrimmage.
Jenn Sterger should have taken him for a couple of million to never leak the story and she would be set. Favre weathered the storm and came out smelling like a rose.

The thing I was trying to call into question was whether or not the OP either thought he would be fined more, or should have been fined more.
If he put only 50k because that isnt very much to favre, then nvm.

They probably wouldn't let him be honored at games after his playing days or something like that. Do they get a retirement or health insurance? They could garnish that.

250K is 20% of one game check. I'm just saying that isn't much to Favre either. I actually think he shouldn't have been fined at all. The chick was looking for money.

I don't see where this was a "NFL incident" in the first place. This was between Farve and Strenger...not a NFL problem.
