Watching the bowl game last night and heard that Mizzou avg 10 Ws per season over the past 4 seasons (pretty big sample size), with 10 Ws this season.
Just wondering how LSU fans think LSU stacks up to Mizzou since it will take a W over aTm to have the same 4yr win total.
If it is all about Ws (as often read on here), would they be equal...at best for LSU?

I don't know who Mizzou has played and beaten over the past 4 years, but it's silly to just count number of wins. It's who you beat.

Miz is in the 2nd or 3rd tier as far as program stability and prestige go. LSU is still elite even after a couple of "just decent" years. Having the same amount of wins in the SEC vs any other conference means something. So yes, LSU > Missouri

You are dead on arrival if this is a legit debate topic. I can only think you are trying to make some coy link.

Do you feel wins in the SEC West is the same as the Big 12 NORTH? Pretty simple question.

As a matter of fact, name me the list of BCS NC's that MIZZOU has played in that timeframe?

No! All Ws are not equal.

When you're talking LSU you're talking wins in the SEC.

That's like saying Boise State is the best team this decade just because they have more wins than most every team in the country. Not the same thing at all, depends on what teams you are beating to get that many wins.

SEC wins>>B12 wins.

That game last night may have offered some insight into how the Cotton Bowl could go.

Iowa was an avg. B10 team, but played in a tougher conference than Mizzou.

Don't know how much the "whether Mizzou wanted to be there or not" factor contributed.

Slightly off topic, but before the game started one of the announcers declared Mizzou to be the best team not playing in a BCS bowl game. Sitting at 10-2 (same record as LSU), I felt kind of slighted as an LSU fan (seeing how our only 2 losses came to a team in the BCSNCG and a team in the BCS Sugar Bowl). I greatly enjoyed watching Mizzou lose after the announcer said this.

So, both teams were 10-2, but Mizzou just lost to a 7-5 Iowa team missing some key offensive players. I think that is proof enough that 10 wins in the SEC are different than 10 wins in the Big 12 (assuming LSU wins their bowl game, which I'm confident they will).

Like everyone else, I think SEC >>>>> B12 for sure

I think it did to an extent but they really looked like they were driving to put the game away before that pick six. That was a tough way to lose a bet!
