Fox was d-coordinator
SP was o-coordinator

Supposedly they were great friends.

Time for Fox to do something for his buddy

Go Panthers and Saints !

Get a win against the falcons this week and maybe in return Fox can be our DC next year

I hope not, but there could be quite a few openings and someone is going to give GW a call.

You could do a lot worse than Fox at defensive coordinator.

Don't underestimate Fox's chances of getting another head coaching job next year.

I would not even be shocked if it were a prime job like Dallas.

The dude's never had an elite QB since he's been there.

He said at the end of last season he was offered a couple of jobs, but declined.

I was talking more about his relationship with Payton, someone (tuned in mid interview) was on Buddy's show a week or two ago said he doesn't believe GW will be back because he thinks his relationship with Payton has soured. He sounded like he was kind of in the know, so we'll see. I figured there was a thread on here about it.

Be honest, Dallas doesn't have an elite QB either.

I'd be surprised if SP and GW have soured. Not sure why that would be. Plus i have heard GW not anxiousnto be head coach again.

But for several million $$$$$$....... He would go.

I don't think Payton would let the relationship sour.. he took a good pay cut to bring Gregg in and for good reason..

I also heard Buddy and guests telling LSU fans they can start buying Rose Bowl tickets a few years ago. I'd trust the bathroom wall more than anything i hear on that show

I know this sounds crazy but i wouldnt be suprised to see Car win this game. Last year we were 13-0 then loss to Dallas and then lost to the 1-15 or whatever they were TB Bucs. This will be Fox's last game in Car and i think guys like Stewart and Steve Smith will want to win one for him
