New Year's Eve in Biloxi question

I'm going to be down in Biloxi on the Ms Gulf Coast with some friends for new years eve and New Years Day. What's some good places you guys recommend ? We are going to hit up the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage for sure, but what are some other places, bars, casinos, restaurants, etc you think me and my crew should hit up this weekend.

I can pretty much stay in the combo of those two the entire weekend and be happy. Gamble - buffet - Gamble - buffet - sleep, repeat.

Maybe the IP if you are bored, otherwise no need to leave the hard rock/beau area.

Any good bars outside of the casinos worth visiting?
I've heard about Mary Mahoney's my buddy's wife said they have Great shrimp.

Anybody know if they have a decent amount of cabs down on the coast? I don't plan on driving anywhere NYE

They might have free cabs like Baton Rouge and New Orleans this time of year. Call hotel and see.

Seriously, both casinos will have bands, etc and will be in full party mode. You don't want to leave them to go anywhere else in Biloxi. You can walk back and forth between the Beau and Hard Rock.
Mary Mahoneys is great.

I would get on sixpack and ask the coast bulldawgs where the most state fans will be and watch it there.

You could drive down to Shaggy's and watch the game on NYD. They have good burgers and a cool atmosphere. The Dock is a big bar over your way, but I've never been.

Clyde's is the sports bar (no food) in Bay St Louis, and it's a great place to watch games. Beningo's is the place you'd want to go on NYE, probably have a DJ and it's a great place to get blotto. BYO G though, not to many girls just hanging around BSL.

Is the worse place I've ever eaten on the Coast, no lie.

I can't think of worse places to spend NYE than on the Gulf Coast, actually.

That's why I recommended the burger. Almost everything else is uneatable. It's a bar that actually gets diffuse light in it, and they have TVs. IDK, I just highlighted what we have - not what's GREAT.

I hear ya, Gaston. I think you have to be somewhat of a homebody to enjoy the Coast, honestly.

I actually recommend Salute if you're in Gulfport. Food there is pretty good. My mom loves Ricky's in the Bay/Waveland area but I think the quality of their food went down after Katrina.

You don't like The Sycamore House? I think it's good.

I know what I like at Trapani's so I'm usually happy with dinner there.

Old Cuevas is good.

I don't eat Ricky's. Jack's is good (but again, not at the level of pre-Katrina).

Jourdan River is OK, but a bit spendy.

I really like Fatsumo sushi in Gulfport.
