Deer behind the house

Almsot topped off Christmas about an hour ago.
Decided to hit the woods in the back yard to check my corn. Walked up to a big OLD doe feeding and didnt even look my direction. Decided not to take the shot (25-30yds) with the 20ga buckshot because i've been trying to kill one with the bow. When I got back 5 min later with the bow, no deer

I've waled up on coyotes and bobcats before.
Just walked back there again. Didnt see anything. Turned around and damn thing was bedding in the bushes and i couldnt see it, took off quick

Should have busted for arse the first time. You'll get another chance with the bow.
