Living in Europe and need recommendations

I'd like to catch a game at some point in the next 6 months. I played soccer growing up and in high school, but never really delved into the European leagues.
So.. what are three games you would recommend I go to in the next 6 months and why?

(This is more like a if you could visit a city, drink some beer, catch a game than a "well you should go to the Superbowl of course" answer)

Define "Europe." That's a pretty broad spectrum.

I would start with Munich. They have an awesome stadium and you can go to the Hofbrahaus while you're there.

Sorry that I didn't clarify. I can fly or train anywhere in Central/Western Europe for under a $100/$150 so I didn't really see it as a limitation.
I live in the South of France.
I'm thinking more along the lines of:
UK, Spain, Germany, France, Ireland

next 6 mounts i would go to
1. uefa champions league final it will be held at Wembley Stadium in London on 28 May 2011. self explanatory.
and since a german team will be in it. my next two would be
2. an premier league game. just pick 2 good teams and go. oldest league in the world, lots of history, you will understand the songs that the sing. and can meet people if your only language is english.
3. and the reamatch between barca and real madrid on april 17 in madrid. game should be pretty good. will be the 207 El Clásico.and other than the UEFA Champions League Final, it is the most followed club football match in the world.

Germany-go to Hamburg and watch a St. Pauli match at the Millerntor. It is located right on the edge of the Reeperbon or red light district. Great fans, great atmosphere, excellent location. Don't waste your time with Bayern. Munich is a boring town except during Oktoberfest.
Italy-terrible stadiums, lackluster support (except by right wing mobs), but decent football. I've been to see Napoli, Roma, and AC Milan. Of those my choice would be Napoli for the atmosphere but you should go to the San Siro in Milan at least once.
Spain-Barcelona
Ireland-Don't bother. Go to Scotland instead. Better scenery, better economy, and a more intense football experience. Go to Glasgow (Celtic Park or Ibrox).
England-In this order...Elland Road (Leeds United), Anfield (Liverpool), St. James Park (Newcastle United). Avoid London, but if you must go there I would watch a West Ham match at Upton Park.
France-Marseille
There are other interesting footie experiences in Europe you just have to do a little research. Have fun.
Italy-terrible stadiums, lackluster support (except by right wing mobs), but decent football. I've been to see Napoli, Roma, and AC Milan. Of those my choice would be Napoli for the atmosphere but you should go to the San Siro in Milan at least once.

Yeah I'd recommend West Ham out of all the London clubs for atmosphere. Or Millwall. Spurs if you absolutely must see one of the top sides. Stoke are generally known for great atmosphere but the city itself is shite. Then there's any of Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle.
Germany is probably better for the "gameday experience" if you can speak a bit of German. No war jokes though. If you do accidentally make a war joke, tell them they started it, and when they disagree say "Yes you did you invaded Poland". Ha. But seriously Germany looks like the place to be for football right now. Cheap tickets, an open league and passionate support.
Dutch and Portuguese football are kinda shite but it should be easy to get a ticket to the biggest clubs and Lisbon and Amsterdam are both amazing cities.
And then of course there's Spain.

good luck getting a ticket to el clasico II, though it would be awesome. i'd suggest for spain going to the match of atleti-rm or espanyol-barca. those are really hated rivalries, and really, unless you are made of money, el clasico is out
