Anyone ever been? Im going with some buddies on Lake Winnipesaukee as a change of pace from skiing and I've never been. Any advice?

I've been in Colorado a few times. If the wind was blowing... it was colder than anything I ever imagined, and not very fun. When there was no wind, the cold was infinitely more tolerable and we actually were able to catch a good mess of fish.
I assume you'll be going with someone that is experienced on this lake?

Took this yesterday. These folks were playing hockey and had a hole drilled in the ice. They were staying warm... 
They caught a few small trout close to the bank.

Ask the locals where the fish are and what to use. Otherwise you probably not enjoy it so much.

I know some guys from Wisconsin that are all into it. They have little camps they sit in with holes on the floor. Sit in there and get drunked up and fish. Sounds fun.
