Kurt Warner -- An All-time Great?

I'm not suggesting that Kurt Warner be listed as one of the All-time greats but in watching the Year of the QB special on ESPN I though about something.
Kurt Warner led two different teams to the super bowl.
Can anyone else claim this?
Not saying that makes him Top-10 all-time but I really think that is an incredible thing to be able to do.

He had a decent career. Some fabulous years. What did they call the Rams when he was on it and won? Greatest show on turf.

when he was good, he was good
when he was bad, he couldnt win a starting QB gig in his prime for 3-4 years battling shitty QBs

He'll get it. The media loves them some Kurt Warner.

Speaking of great playoff QB's. He has a real case based solely on his postseason performance. If the Steelers don't make that amazing catch...

Statistically, he actually doesn't have the full career numbers that one looks for in a HoFamer. And he had those 3-4 "blackhole" years in the middle.
But he'll get in because people love him, and because of his story.

Statistically, I don't think he is an all-time great unless you look at SOME of his averages.
The story is great, and he is a great ambassador for the game, which can also help a borderline player.
He also had some damn good performances in big stages.
He took the fricking Rams and Cardinals to the Super Bowl...seriously, two of the shittiest franchises in modern football were led to the grand stage by a guy who used to sack groceris in Iowa.
So yeah...I say he deserves it.
If a guy like Warren Moon is worthy, then so is Warner.

It's the pro football HoF, so his arena numbers "count"

I really enjoyed that show. I have no idea why Snoop was on there talking about being a QB. I mean frick, why is snoop dog a voice in the sports world. because he runs a select pop team? I had no idea that Kenny Mane(sp) was a pro QB and Mark Harmon (UCLA) were qb's much less even played sports on those levels.
