Does anyone out there know what would need to happen for the Bears to visit the Superdome in the playoffs?

Would it only apply to the NFC Championship and not a divisional playoff?

Bears would have to be a wild card for sure, Saints 5 and Bears 6.

Oh how I would love this. Those Bears fans would get hell after how they acted in '06.

Even if the Bears win their division and the Saints win theirs (NFC Championship)?

very very slim chance IMO.

Falcons have to lose to Seahawks
Saints have to win At Baltimore, then at Atlanta and still have to beat the Bucs

Green Bay would have to win that division.. Looks tough for them with Rodgers in wonderland.

If the Saints win their division its pretty safe to say that they would likely also have home field throughout the playoffs since we would have to go 13-3 and need help to do it.

Basically 2 scenarios:

[1] Saints win NFC South and #1 seed.
[2] Saints get #5 seed wildcard and Bears get #6 seed wildcard...both teams then make it to the NFC Championship.

Would you rather travel to play at Chicago or Green Bay in Winter though?

Green Bay no matter what. The Saints do not have good fortune when visiting Soldier Field. Let's leave it at that!

Actually, it's more than "safe to say." If the saints are able to win the division and go 13-3, they are a lock for playoff home field throughout.

Go Seahawks!!!!

I was just leaving room for the possibility that the Saints lose a game and Atlanta drops the next three. VERY VERY unlikely but still possible. If we go 13-3 and win the division though we are #1 seed yes. But its still possible to win the division going 12-4 too. Not sure who gets the tie breaker if there is another 12-4 team.
