Where do you see our offense next year. Do we flourish with two exp. QB's or is it same shite different day?

Bring in anyone else, and we can win the West. Keep Crowton, and it's much tougher.

His record shows that when he has a QB that has learned the fundementals at the collegiate level his offense is amazing. This track record holds true at BYU, Oregon, and LSU. Its when he has to start coaching up his own QBs that his offense falls apart. Why? Who knows. But it is for some reason. So with Mett im cautiously optimistic that things will turn around, but I sure as hell wouldnt put any money down on us to be in the top 60 in total Offense next year.

It is actually better for him to return. It has taken JJ and JL three years to learn his system. I got to believe that next year they will another improvement.

I can't understand why anyone thinks Crowton is a good OC and no, we won't be better. Miles needs to let him go and hire Brian Harsin from Boise State.

Personally, I think he needs to go. He overthinks most offensive decisions and winds up outsmarting himself. KISS....Keep it simple stupid. We've got the horses so make them stop us. IMHO the spread or any derivation of it has no place in LSU. IMHO

Probably an offense ranked in the top 65...definitely top 70.

If we dont have a Top 50 offense next year Crowton needs to go SO BAD. Mettenberger with all that talent around him should be an elite offense.

This has to be close to Germans. As I have been saying, can we at least wait until after the Cotton Bowl game--maybe even after NSD, though we know GC is not much of a recruiter. We should have some idea by then.

I refuse to believe Crowton will be back until I actually see him in Dallas for the Oregon game.

They already know the system, they just aren't very good. In their defense, Crowton is an awful QB coach.

IMO it's the arrow, not the indian.

we needed new qb and we got one.
I hope the guy is lights out from day one.

I can't wait til next December when the same threads pop up

"LSU is ranked 98th in total offense... Why didn't we get rid of crowton?"

Come on give Crowton come credit...he improved our offensive ranking 9 or so slots from last year...we'll be in the 80s...
