Does the signing of Gonzales and Crawford in Boston mean that Liverpool won't be signing anyone in the transfer window?

I havent considered this, but I don't think Boston's dealings would have any effect on who Liverpool pursues. Could you imagine the outrage from the fans if this were the case???

I heard during the Aston Villa match the other night that Liverpool probably wouldn't be signing anyone anyway, but I wondered if all the money the Sox just spent made that reality.
