That midseason QB change was interesting.

Keep in mind that there are something like 8 true freshman starting on the OL among BCS conference schools. 2 of them start for A&M. That OL gelled about the same time that QB change took place, and RBCyrus Gray started averaging over 100yds/game. Just an fyi.

I watched the aggies a lot this seaon, my gf went to TAM, and they really are a completely different team with the new qb, all three of those quality loses were with the other QB starting. And the OSU lose was almost soley the QB's fault, had like 5 turnovers including one leading to the game winning field goal for OSU.

The OU and Nebraska wins are quality wins

This will be a competitive game, one that we should win BTW!

The only game I got to watch them was when Okie Lite marched up and down the field all night against them.

The Aggies are much better than many on here give them credit for.

So if they played in the SEC this year, they'd be about the calibur of a Kentucky? Maybe Georgia?

Keep in mind the losses stopped and they beat Oklahoma and Nebraska after the QB change.

Breaking down their wins and losses really doesn't mean squat.

A&M's new QB is like 6-0.

The former QB was 3-3, and turned the ball over 5 times against OSU and 4 times against Ark.

Without those turnovers, they might be sitting higher than we give them credit for...

Really? Were you drunk? We outgained them 535 to 351 total yards. We dominated virtually every statistic in the game. If we hadn't turned it over five times we would have blown them out. Not sure they "marched up and down the field all night" on us.

You will notice that stats mean nothing to this website. These are people who complain about a coach that is 10-2 and has won a national championship.

The shoulda coulda wouldas on A&M's season are legion. What would things have been like had Johnson's "minor" offseason shoulder surgery healed properly? At 100 percent, he edges Tannehill. Yet his preseason offensive player of the year honors didn't make his throws any less erratic. Sadly, there are no mulligans on lost seasons.

Still, the defense is finally decent and Tannehill has the offense clicking. I'll take that over the entirety of the Fran years.

If we ever end up joining the SEC, I'm going to need a new liver.
