just thought i'd share a view of how talented we'll be next season. Would like to see a pro-set backfield with the talent LSU has at RB, would def. keep the defense on their heels. trying to be as accurate as possible.

Qb- JJ, JL, ZM
RB- Ridley, Ford, Ware, Gore, Hilliard, Hill
FB- Stampley, Copeland, Worle, Theroit
WR- RR, RS, Toliver, Boone, Murphy, Fobbs, AWilliams, Wright, Landry
TE- Peterson, Clement, Joseph, Edwards, Russian?, Jacobs
T- Faulk, Washington
T- Hurst, Collins, Shaw
G- Dworacyk. Branch
G- Blackwell, Williford
C- Lonergan, Hebert, Fordham

DE- Adams, Mingo, Aghayere, Maclin
DE- Montgomery, Edwards, Allen
DT- Downs, A Johnson, JR Ferguson
DT- Brockers, D Johnson, Davenport, Logan
OLB- Baker, Barrow, T Jones, Welter
MLB- Minter, Barrow, Munchie, Welter, T Randle
OLb- Francois, Johns, A Blue?
DB- Clairborne, Bryant, Gibson, Calhoun
DB- Simon, Vinson, St.Julien, Jenkins
DB- Mathieu, Brooks
S- Taylor, Hatcher
S- Reid, Loston

would like to see LSU pick up a big name linebacker. looks like landon collins would make a great one

No way Ridley's stock will be higher this year than next. He needs to come back. How can you say he won't match what he did this year to next? Just because of the incoming freshman RB's. None of those backs will be him out. There is a very good chance that Hillard and Hill both red shirt.

he's been plagued by injuries his whole career, he'll never be more then a 3rd 4th rd back, he may as well go and save the tear on his body. Ware and Ford should be the RB's next year and you still have 3 highly touted RB's coming next year...it would be foolish for him to come back unless he wants a national title, which i can understand...

To the OP, unless Montgomery's injury is still lingering, I don't think there's any reason to believe he won't start next year

sorry, dont see the big deal with peterson, clement runs after the catch damn near as good, i know im only going on one catch but hell, clem is better at blocking and close to as good catching, might as well, leave him in....

dont get me wrong, peterson is faster and better hands bc he was a WR, but Clem is bigger, stronger, meaner and a good athlete...both will be in there about the same, so it doesnt matter anyway....

If Mett is as good as we are hoping, Peterson will breakout as one of the best offensive weapons in the SEC. He is much more athletic than Clement is. I will give you Clement being the obvious choice as a blocker and if Peterson gets hurt, we will not be hindered by the TE position. Clement's a rock solid college TE, Peterson has the ability to be special.

Stargazers never cease to amaze me. The guy who hasn't proven squat is always the one who needs to be starting.

A good QB won't change how soft he is.

people need to give JJ another chance... with him on the field it opens everything up. Crowten is the one that needs to go

I agree that's a stretch. Brockers looks like a good bet. Detillier said in a recent interview he thought Freak would be starting at DT before mid-season next year. What about Ferguson? He's supposed to be great. Copeland also. I don't see him staying at fullback. Damn sure have a lot of good young talent on both sides of the ball. It all comes down to who steps up in the spring and fall.
