Man, I've been to New Orleans three times. You have to get out of the Quarter. It's cool and all, but if you've been once, then you have been a billion times. I really enjoyed the Garden District and the area by Tulane.

Not quite sure what you mean by "upscale", but why not try Frenchman Street? Its where most of the local musicians play. Try Three Muses for an "upscale" feel out of the music clubs. Has good food (although you do not need to eat to sit in there), and great drinks.

Cure, bar in the W maybe(havent been in forever), Le Phare (or something)

As you can tell I dont really hang out at upscale places. I rather just sit at an average bar and drink and try to get pussy.

Warehouse district has some good spots that arent upscale. Ernst cafe, Lucys, Vics, Red Eye(20 year old sluts everywhere, but the place sucks in every other way) , Gordon Beersch (sp?) is a good place to drink and watch a game.

Ill try and think of some more.
