This kid is being recruited by LSU, MS State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Southern Miss. He has offers from all but LSU. He is the first Junior ever to be named Gatorade MS HS player of the year.

He has a good chance to also win the Gatorade baseball player of the year this year as well. He is one of the top pro prospects in the state.

First I have heard of Florida being in the mix. I know he went to 2 LSU games this year McNesee and one other early in the year.

I heard he loved the fact that Chad Jones won a ring in both baseball and football at LSU.

Kid is an outstanding athlete. Being named Gatorade MS HS POY as a Junior should tell you something. Word on the street is that he likes LSU a lot and Mainari has offered him in baseball, and he is waiting on Leslie the Hat to do the same.

Not how I feel, I wouldn't mind adding him to our 2012 class

I think alot of people around here don't want to keep going down that road to many times. Lee left a nice shite taste in many mouths around ya.

I assumed it was because of baseball but I think it is ridiculous to not take a chance on a guy that good.

I can still taste it. the more i think of Mett, Prescott, Rivers, Bridgewater and Brissett. I think about how this wouldnt be a problem if Lee stayed and played.

Just my instinct but you may be thinking of Matt Davis (I think that's his first name) QB for 2012 from Texas. Thinking he's looking heavily at LSU and Auburn (I know).

Well Les, go out and offer Alford. Unless it's a Zach Lee situation. That's the worst position to bring in a guy to a class with that risk.

He's not a QB on the next level. WR/DB. He looks like a Jared Mitchell clone coming out of HS.

Alford tore his ACL in one of the last football games of the season. Played the playoff game with it torn
