Is Sugar bowl completely out for LSU?

We are going to finish in Top 12 of BCS and Sugar doesn't have to take Arky. I am just wondering why they might not take us. I dont believe the Sugar has to take the highest rated SEC team or am I incorrect on that.... Both are 10-2 and I would think that LSU would be more attractive of a team than Arkansas for the Sugar even though they may fill up more hotel rooms.

I'm sure Arky is putting the hard sell on right now that they will bring the fans...I don't see them taking LSU though. Frankly I think South Carolina is going to beat Auburn and end up there.

YES - Completely out of the realm of possibility as per conversations with Sugar Bowl Committee Reps. at game yesterday. Winner of LSU /ARKY to Sugar, unless Auburn gets BCS Snub or USCe victory.

There is other various reasons why they would pick LSU over Arkansas (amount of $$ the state of LA gives the suger, more fans would show if LSU plays, the probable rematch of the 07 BCSNCG to maybe vindicate tOSU,etc)
But Arkansas deserves it.

I find it sad that the Cap One, Cotton, and Outback are considered toilet bowls by LSU fans. Any of those are top 15 matchups.

you don't know much about bowls do you? their ENTIRE REASON FOR BEING is to promote tourism in their city. and always has been. they would be foresaking the spirit of their existence (and their mission) by selecting us over arkansas (under the present circumstances).
