Why would a one loss LSU team play for a NC over a one loss AUB team that beat them? What am I missing here that a lot on this board are seeing?

This year plays out like 2006 and we win it all next year.

It is possible that USCe could have 4 loses by the seccg. Losing to an unranked team can have that effect

as much as it pains me to say this, auburn deserves to play for the nc no matter what happens in the seccg. their record says they are the best team in the best conference. i hate it, but its true. we came up 8 points short. sucks.

I doubt because the computers will probably still give Auburn love. LSU would need Oregon/Auburn to lose to have a shot I believe.

I give props to Auburn. I don't like them, but I hope they win it all to keep the SEC streak alive. We will take it in 2011

It is good for LSU in the long wrong that Auburn is back. Now Saban has to compete for in state talent.

It's simple...the later you the lose in the season..the more it stings..with Boise State losing..all we need is for LEU to win today...Auburn to lose in the SECCG..and either Oregon or TCU to lose

So if we had eight more points, what happens in that game? Now what happens if we only have seven more? I hope you see what he means now.
