It's sad and pathetic. No Way in hell LSU jumps Auburn if AU loses the SECCG. Auburn would be 12-1 LSU would be 11-1. Pretty simple, guys. Just let the chips fall where they may and enjoy.

BUT had AU lost today, it wouldn't be a stretch. BUT people who either have an agenda and are closet LSU haters or are just too ignorant for their own good wanted Auburn to beat Bama today.
I agree, it's pointles now. It looks like the Sugar is about all we have left as far as BCS hopes.

First off, it's silly to think of AUburn losing two games in a row with Cam Newton at QB. Secondly, who would feel good about LSU getting in the MNCG without even playing for the SEC crown? Auburn had a better season and we should all move on from fantasy land.

The only way LSU gets in the MNCG is if the Cam investigation clears up in the next 48 hours, LSU beats Arky, goes to the SECCG, and beats USCe. I think the NCAA and SEC will hold off on any of the Newton stuff until after the SECCG bc of the massive clusterfrick that would take place with the tickets already being sold to the game.

SO it's all about the trophy even if your team doesn't deserve one?? People have become too result oriented. Believe it or not, LSU doesnt need to back into a championship game in order for me to acknowledge that they are very good and have had a solid year. SO maybe I have LESS of a stick up my arse because I dont need to ask santa for things to make me happy.

I learned to love and embrace National Championships without the SEC crown when we won the 2000 NC in baseball but didn't win the SEC regular season.

If Auburn had gotten blasted the way they probably should have today then it wouldn't matter. That game was a couple of Alabama mistakes away from a 30-35 point lead at halftime. AU surely would have fallen below LSU. In summation, frick you Alabama. frick you.

I've also enjoyed this year. I would enjoy winning a NC as well. Those two things are not incompatible.
