I know we all have our conspiracy theories on ESPN's hatred for any team other than North East teams but this is retarded. From a purely viewers perception why do I want to watch them break down Pats And Jets for 30 minutes and then come back at top of hour and start it all over again before ever mentioning the Saints-Dallas game.

FML. Should have watched local news.

I seriously cant comprehend why theyd go back and forth from the Bengals/Jets and Pats/Lions games AT LEAST 3 times EACH with NOT ONE Saints/Cowboys highlight.

Only took 45 minutes to get through Jets- Pats love affair. Then we get all of 2 minutes of coverage.

Again FML.

Yes. One average piss and you missed the cowboy highlights (since they only showed one saints score). However you could have fried a turkey and not missed Jets/Pats discussion.

You're nuts if you think ESPN obsesses over Northeastern teams.

Simple. Do like I do and don't watch it. You saw the game, we have local channels, why would you need those dumb asses, with only a passing knowledge of your team, to discuss the game for you?

I DESPISE ESPN.

However, a few things need to be mentioned:

1. The Jets were going to dominate the highlights because the game was just played. They do this with every primetime game.

2. I'm looking at ESPN.com and Jenkins' strip is the "Highlight of the Night" and the front page story.

3. On the ESPN.com headlines, the Saints are the top story.

4. If you think ESPN is going to ignore a Cowboys game completely, you're crazy. A couple of hours after the Jets game was over, you knew they would go back to "Cowboys 24/7" coverage, and they did.

As much as ESPN sucks you have to give them credit here.

ESPN dropped them with the quickness as soon as they started to suck. I haven't heard shite about USC all year practically.

However, I did read yesterday that every major East Coast market was getting USC/Notre Dame instead of Okie/Okie State--which...you know...MATTERS!

I am pretty sure that shovel pass Brees made to Julius Jones for a first down when it appeared he was going down was worth at least one look on ESPN.

I know there were several other tv-friendly highlights by the Saints, especially in the first half, but alas, we're not America's Team.

If Dallas had won you know they would have talked about that nonstop though.

Another reason why ESPN showed the frick out of Jets/Bengals is that half the country doesn't get NFL Network and was probably more curious to see unique highlights than the highlights of games they'd already watched live (Pats/Lions and Saints/Cowboys).
